Runners up - Nursing Team of Father Mullers

The Nursing team of Father Muller Medical College Hospital Nursing Services Department won 2nd place
in the Zonal Level Quiz Contest for Nurses. The quiz was organized by the
Department of Microbiology and Hospital Infection Control Department of
Yenepoya Medical College Hospital. 24 teams from hospitals across Mangalore
participated in the Zonal level quiz contest on 9.11.22.
3 teams from Father Mullers participated in the quiz contest, of
which the Assistant Nursing Superintendents team of Renita Lasrado, Gracy
Dsilva and Laveena Nazareth won second place. The other participants from
Father Mullers were Carol Dsouza, Rita Monteiro, Anusha Roseline A, Floreena
Lobo, Soniya Rodrigues, and Asha Lobo all from the nursing services department.
The quiz was managed by Dr Rochele Tellis & team with quiz
master Mr Jupiter.
KS Hegde bagged first place and 3rd place by KMC Hospital, Mangalore.
The Nursing services department which is known for its service-centric nature towards patients makes it a point to adapt to modernizing
times. Continuing Nursing Education and departmental academic and
extracurricular activities have always put teamwork ahead of the individual in Nursing Services. The department is the backbone of the Father Muller
Medical College Hospital and since its inception from the Sisters of Charity,
it has grown and accommodated the alumni of Father Muller School and College of
Nursing and other institutions.
